Our Brighton branch is well established in the area, and highly experienced in hosting teachers from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland. They are able to offer a huge variety of teaching settings and roles for you to choose from. They provide ongoing and sustainable support for international teachers from a dedicated (and delightful) consultant who will arrange house viewings,and assist with partnering/finding a group of overseas teachers to live with. They also organise regular social events for their international teachers.

The Brighton Secondary Team
Oli has 5 years’ experience in education recruitment – coming from a solid background in management, recruitment and customer service. Since joining the company he has experienced significant success as a recruitment consultant and has recently taken the lead as the branch manager of the Brighton Secondary team. Oli works very hard for his team, clients and candidates and looks to continue to harvest further opportunities across Sussex. He enjoys a challenge and works to find ‘new solutions to old problems’. His colleagues would describe him as hard working, determined and above all, honest. Outside work Oli enjoys gymnastics, yoga and travelling.
Mia Menson Evans – Recruitment Consultant (Brighton & Hove)
Mia is the consultant who looks after all Brighton and Hove schools. Her colleagues would describe her as a valuable team player with compliance expertise who goes above and beyond to assist all schools and candidates in her care. She is at her best when she is busy. Mia is a very proactive resourcer and always happy to assist in any way she can. Outside of work Mia likes reading and socialising with friends and is highly interested in fashion.
Alex Ogley – Recruitment Consultant (West Sussex)
Alex is the consultant with a vast knowledge of Special Educational Needs schools and is another expert on compliance, she’s also involved in the successful running of our in-house CPD courses. Alex loves to travel and has recently moved back to the UK from New Zealand. Her colleagues would describe her as active and athletic, Alex looks after a portfolio of West Sussex and SEN schools.
Josh Hausdoerfer – Recruitment Consultant (East Sussex)
Enthusiastic and driven, Josh is our consultant for East Sussex. Josh focuses on building excellent relationships with his teachers and schools, and ensuring a candidates best attributes are fully utilised in every role. In his spare time Josh enjoys the gym and playing football. Josh has previously enjoyed success working with our schools in Surrey.
Aaron Blackwell – Recruitment Consultant (1:1 and West Sussex)
One of the newest members of the team, Aaron is working with our 1:1 tutors & schools and also with a selection of West Sussex schools. Aaron has vast experience in B2B and international account management which will no doubt serve him well for the future. Outside of the office Aaron is passionate about travel and an array of sports.
Glen Mullen – Recruitment Consultant Brighton & Portsmouth
Glenn is one of the newest members to the Supply Desk team. Coming from a background in customer service he relocated from a seaside town in Dublin, Ireland to the beautiful city of Brighton & Hove in November 2016. Since then Glenn has begun developing business in the Portsmouth area with his team-mate Alex. In his spare time Glenn escapes to London to see as many West-End shows & concerts as humanly possible. He loves everything Harry Potter & is a great source of useless pop-culture knowledge.

Paul Tricker – Branch Primary Divisional Manager and lead for Brighton, Hove and East Sussex Primary Schools. Having joined in 2006, Paul now has over 10 years sector experience with Supply Desk. Working with over 70 client Primary Schools in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex. Paul has superb knowledge of the education recruitment market and has Experience of recruiting for a wide range of vacancies from day to day supply to managing a school’s permanent recruitment. Paul is passionate about Client and Candidate service and the exclusive agreements he has with both reflects this.
Ryan Simmons Principal Consultant and Lead for West Sussex Primary Schools for Supply Desk. Ryan has successfully worked as a consultant for Supply Desk for the last 7 years. Ryan is a dedicated and hard-working recruitment consultant whose activity goes above and beyond expectations in order to achieve success. Ryan has built long lasting partnerships with schools and candidates alike and always strives to match the best candidate to the school . Ryan is a true team player, who is always willing to spend time helping colleagues with their work.
Catherine Ray Account Manager and Primary Branch facilitator, Catherine is passionate about customer care. During her 4 years at Supply Desk she has continuously demonstrated this in supporting not only clients and candidates alike but also the Branch Manager. Catherine is often the first contact with the company for our candidates and has received numerous compliments on her professionalism and the assistance she provides.
Megan Parsons
Megan has recently joined Supply Desk and is new to the education sector. Megan has a strong background in sales and customer service and will be working closely with the rest of the Primary Team to provide the best service to our client schools and candidates alike. We are sure Megan is going to be a real success story!

Like many others I found moving to the UK very difficult. The difference in culture, the moving away from family & friends, and the having to adjust & set up a life on the other side of the planet. However, unlike others I had my Teach In / Supply Desk team. Between Paul & the others in the Supply Desk Brighton office, my Teach In Aussie team Lizzie & Gemma, & my overseas coordinator Steph (or as I like to call her ‘mum’) there was no chance that I was left to deal with it alone. It even stretched as far as when I was struggling to find a house (as I chose the sunniest, most popular part of the UK – Brighton) Paul & the team suggested websites/real estate agents, contacted other teachers & asked friends if anyone had a room available.
