What people say about their experience with us
Meghan Carter, Canadian Teacher working in Bucks, UK
I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for me over the past couple months! Before I came here to Bucks I did not have the best school or support from my previous agency up in Nottingham. Therefore my confidence was at a low. After speaking with you and realizing that there were other schools much better, I first didn’t believe you, but realized I wasn’t ready to go home. I am so glad that you were able to convince me to stay in England for the full year. If it wasn’t for your endless search to find me the best fit I would have gone home discouraged and had a bad opinion of teaching and possibly not pursued it further. For that I am truly thankful and grateful for everything you have done!
Now I must return home, and because of all my UK teaching experience I was able to land a teaching job in Canada. I couldn’t be happier to have received the position! Thank you for everything you have done for me.
Caleb Kissick, Australian teaching in England
My experience with Teach In has been fantastic. Everyone I’ve worked with there has been incredibly friendly and helpful, responding almost immediately to any questions I’ve had and letting me know about the range of options available through them to work and travel in the UK. As someone just entering into the teaching profession, after having studied at both the University of Melbourne and the Australian Catholic University, it’s great to have this kind of support offered by Teach In available to me.
Lachlan Beech, Australian Teacher working in Leeds, UK
The Teach In / Supply Desk Leeds team have been incredibly helpful during my time working in schools in the UK. I was lucky enough to come over with my brother and a friend, who both went through the agency as well. They walked us through all the nitty-gritty paperwork pre-departure, picked us up from the airport upon arrival, transported us to our initial
accommodation, and even advised us where we could get a good meal. They allowed me the time I needed to settle in, such as setting myself up with a bank account, and finding permanent accommodation before organising interviews for potential job opportunities at various schools.
The team were very thorough and helpful in finding me suitable work that utilised my experience while being very considerate of finding suitable schools close by, in order to lessen my travel time to and from work.
I would recommend this company to anyone who is considering teaching over in the UK, especially in Leeds. The incentives and flexibility in work arrangements that the company offer will suit anyone’s circumstances, whether you would like to work full-time and build bank, or go the casual supply route and travel around the UK & Europe.
Marie-France Jenkins-Cooney, Science Teacher from Melbourne teaching in Kent, England
Teach in is a fantastic teaching agency. Lizzie, who acted as my consultant, was extremely professional and dedicated, ensuring that I was always kept up-to-date with the status of my application and prepared for each step of the recruitment process. Lizzie really took the time to understand what I was looking for and was committed to seeking out a suitable role. Teach In do not simply throw any old job at you, they listen to you and research potential jobs to ensure that they find the right fit for you. To top it off, Lizzie even provided assistance with the visa application process! I have secured the perfect role and continue to receive support as I prepare to move to Kent. I cannot recommend Teach In highly enough. Do not hesitate to contact them if you are contemplating teaching in the U.K.!
