Due to a longstanding member of staff retiring at the end of the academic year, the Headteacher is keen to hear and appoint a creative, inspiring and dynamic KS2 Teacher. The role is suitable for a KS2 NQT or KS2 Experienced Teacher as there is scope for additional responsibilities. For KS2 NQTs, there is a tailored induction programme to help you become an Outstanding practitioner. The school are also in a position to offer a TLR to an experienced KS2 teacher looking to progress in their career, which can be negotiated at the interview stage.
Having recently completed their expansion into a 3 form entry school, this is an exciting time to be joining as they continue their journey. Having heavily invested to ensure that all classrooms are equipped with the latest ICT technology and suitable resources, the school are also fortunate to occupy large outdoor areas that they have effectively utilised.
As part of a KS2 year team, you will work with experienced KS2 teachers who play an integral part within the school. As a KS2 teacher, you will also have a full time TA to work with you. The team all work closely so you will be able to swap advice and ideas to help with your teaching practice.
