There are three mixed ability classes in each year group and children are taught English and Maths in sets. We have developed a skills based curriculum in order to excite and engage the children in their learning. We are committed to enriching the curriculum – theme days and weeks are a feature of school life, as are visits by theatre groups and professional artists and musicians. We regularly visit places of interest both within and outside the local area. The children have wide access to music, with music throughout the school. We offer an ensemble, drumming academy, music tech mix club and choir for all to join. The school believes in offering a wide range of extra- curricular clubs, led by specialists and school staff.’
