The Headteacher of this outstanding 3 form entry school in Barking and Dagenham would like to hear from NQTs and Experienced teachers who are looking to work in January 2019 or earlier on a permanent basis. The role would suit someone who can immediately integrate themselves within the school and make a positive contribution to the children’s learning by contributing ideas to the existing school curriculum. The Headteacher is keen to hear from applicants that have ideally taught in KS2. He is looking for a good/outstanding practitioner who is ambitious and passionate about their role. In return, he can offer NQTs a tailored induction programme based on individual interests and areas of development, to ensure that they can pass their year. For Experienced teachers, there is a possibility of a TLR attached next year based on personal interests.

The school itself is very close to Chadwell Heath tube station with regular services running into other parts of London and Essex. The school have a welcoming atmosphere and encourage high standards of behaviour and work so that they continuously enjoy challenging themselves in their learning. The school uphold this ethos by embracing the local community and work in conjunction with parents to maximise each child’s potential to learn and excel.

The school are proud of the changes they have made in their Victorian building to accommodate the current curriculum needs with updated ICT technology across the whole school. Each classroom is fully equipped and necessary changes made to incorporate the expansion into 3 forms. The school grounds also feature a large playground and separate field, where sports events are held.

As a KS2 teacher in Year 5, there is flexibility in moving classes in the next academic year. In addition, you will work alongside experienced teachers in your year group and supportive TAs who have worked at the school for many years.
