About the Area
Kent is a county in South East England which borders Greater London, Surrey and East Sussex. Kent is often described as ‘the garden of England’ as within its sea-lined borders you’ll find a landscape of gentle hills, fertile farmland, cultivated country estates and fruit-laded orchards. At its heart is Canterbury, famous for its stunning cathedral. In Kent you’ll also find beautiful coastal stretches dotted with beach towns and villages, from charming, old-world Broadstairs to gentrified Whitstable and the port town of Dover.
