Design & Technology Teacher
This Easter 2018, Teach In are looking for a Design & Technology Teacher. This means we need someone who can teach ‘wood’ & ‘metal’ work equivalent in the UK. In England, we name these subjects “Resistant Materials”. If you have a background in teaching Product Design, Engineering or Graphic Design we also would be interested in recieving your application.
Our school is looking to pursue and achieve academic excellence, celebrate success and constantly strive to improve.
The school environment is positive, supportive and purposeful so that our students are able to fulfil their potential.
This is due to the huge amount of hard work and dedication of our talented staff, governors and students, and the vital support given by their families. Through teamwork, as a whole school community, we all aspire to and share high expectations. You will be expected to plan, set lessons & their objectives, track pupil progress for Year 7-9 (Key Stage 3) classes & Year 10/Year 11 (GCSE) pupils.
If you have not already done so, you are very welcome to visit us and see the school in action. Successful applicants will recieve a one way flight from home to the UK.
You will find a school that is focused on what matters: happy and well cared for students who are aiming for great results. You may be a new graduate or an experienced teacher looking for a change of scene. If you have experience of using the CadCam design programme, this would be desirable, but not essential.
